The Andover café diversifies by launching cheese and wine evenings

AN ANDOVER coffee shop is branching out by launching brand new cheese and wine nights, now starting next month.

No 78 Specialty Cafe on Andover High Street – which opened in August last year – had planned to host the first event today (June 29). From then on, he plans to offer cheese and wine evenings from Wednesday to Sunday, from 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

The new launch date has been moved to Wednesday, July 13 at 5 p.m.

Jessica Beach of No.78 Specialty Coffee said: “The team at No.78 and I are excited about this new venture within the company and we look forward to opening our doors to you on Wednesday evening.

“A selection of local cheeses will be offered, served with local chutneys, frozen grapes, nuts, and a selection of crackers and focaccia.

“It’s not just a night out. Ask a member of the team what cheese is available that day.”

The cafe was opened by ward councilor Iris Andersen (TVBC, St Mary’s) who said she was extremely pleased to see the business going from strength to strength.

She said: “It’s great to know that a company is versatile. Sometimes you just want to have somewhere to relax – what could be better than having a glass of wine and different cheeses with crackers on a night out. summer. It’s going on a lot on the continent!”
